Inventory Metrics

This document provides documentation for inventory measures, including their names, business descriptions, and references to online sources for further explanation.

Inventory metrics only involve items of type inventory (Service and Non-Inventory items are excluded).

1. Financial KPIs

1.1. GMROI Monthly (EOM)

Gross Margin Return on Investment using monthly end-of-month average stock, measuring inventory profitability.

1.2. GMROI Weekly (EOW)

GMROI using weekly end-of-week average stock.

1.3. Sell-Through Rate

Ratio of sales quantity to purchase quantity for inventory items, indicating sales efficiency.

1.4. Stock Turnover Days

Average days to turn over stock, based on average value and cost.

2. General

2.1. Average Stock Value

Average value of inventory stock over posting dates.

2.2. Average Stock Value Monthly (EOM)

Average stock value at end of months.

2.3. Average Stock Value Weekly (EOW)

Average stock value at end of weeks.

2.4. Inventory Cost Amount

Net cost of inventory in the selected period.

2.5. Inventory Cost Amount (LER)

Net cost of inventory in the selected period using last exchange rate.

2.6. Inventory Cost Amount Decrease

Total decreases in inventory cost amounts.

2.7. Inventory Cost Amount Increase

Total increases in inventory cost amounts.

2.8. Inventory No. of Items

Count of distinct items with inventory changes in the selected period.

2.9. Inventory Quantity

Net quantity of inventory after sales and purchases.

2.10. Inventory Stock Quantity

Cumulative stock quantity up to the current date.

2.11. Inventory Stock Value

Cumulative stock value up to the current date using last exchange rate.

3.1. Out of Stock 14d - No. of Items

Count of items out of stock for 14+ days.

3.2. Out of Stock 14d %

Percentage of items out of stock for 14+ days.

3.3. Out of Stock 1d - No. of Items

Count of items currently out of stock.

3.4. Out of Stock 1d %

Percentage of items currently out of stock.

3.5. Out of Stock 30d - No. of Items

Count of items out of stock for 30+ days.

3.6. Out of Stock 30d %

Percentage of items out of stock for 30+ days.

3.7. Out of Stock 7d - No. of Items

Count of items out of stock for 7+ days.
