1. Overview

Centrify 360 is available in two deployment modes for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central:

  • Managed SaaS on Azure Marketplace
    Centrify 360 is deployed as an Azure Managed Application into your own Azure subscription, maintained by the Centrify 360 team. This option is recommended for most customers, as it reduces infrastructure management overhead while keeping data within your tenant.

  • On-Premise Installation
    Centrify 360 Orchestrator, database, and services are installed on your own infrastructure (on-premises or hosted VM). This option is suitable when you already operate your own infrastructure or must meet specific hosting requirements.

2. Which option should I choose?

  • Use Managed SaaS on Azure Marketplace if:

    • You have an Azure subscription and want Centrify 360 deployed and maintained as a managed application.

    • You prefer to minimize infrastructure work (PostgreSQL, containers, backups, monitoring).

    • You want standardized, repeatable deployments across environments.

  • Use On-Premise Installation if:

    • You cannot use Azure Managed Applications or public cloud for infrastructure.

    • You must host everything on your own servers or non-Azure hosting.

    • You need full control over OS-level configuration and network topology.
